Procedure

Mix first 8 ingredients, set aside. Beat whites with cream of tartar, until soft peaks. Pour in egg yolk mixture and mix well. Pour in greased and floured 9" Bundt pan or greased and lined 9 " round pan. Bake for 40-45 minutes at 350F or 175C. Cool and prick with toothpick or BBQ skewer.

2/3 cup butter, softened

1 cup sugar

3 egg yolks

2/3 cup fresh milk

-

½ tsp. Vanillin/ or butter oil/powder flavoring

1 tbsp. Baking powder

-

½ tsp salt

-

2 cups cake flour

-

½ cup (+) egg whites

-

¼ tsp. Cream of tartar

Butter Rhum Glaze

1/2 cup Butter, ¼ cup water, 1 cup sugar, ½ cup Bacardi Gold
Procedure: Boil first 3 ingredients for 5 minutes. Remove from fire and Bacardi Rum. Pour or brush heavily on cooled cake.
